NSU Tennis Closes out the Shark Bite Invitational

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Tennis team finished the remainder of day two of the Shark Bite Invite and finished out their fall schedule on Sunday, hosting Flagler and St. Thomas University, concluding day three of the Shark Bite Invite. 

How it Happened
SINGLES

  • Ita Habekovic defeated Flagler’s Nikolova [6-2, 6-2].

  • Shing came out victorious against Jipescu [6-3, 6-3].

  • Ciancaglini took on and defeated Kruk [6-4, 6-4].

  • Moraes earned a victory against Flagler’s Valdes [6-2, 6-2].

  • Sagadiyeva was defeated by Balsera [5-7, 2-6].

  • Shing fell against Nikolova [6-7, 6-3, 6-10]. 

  • Moraes lost to Balsera [3-8], then came out with a victory against St. Thomas player Nardone [8-4].

  • Carpi won versus St Thomas’s Burgos [7-6]. 

  • Sagadiyeva defeated Fullerton [8-2].
