Sharks Honor Senior Class, Splits Against Keiser

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men’s and Women’s Swimming teams hosted Keiser on Friday morning at the NSU Aquatic Center. The Sharks Women’s team was victorious 181-81, while the NSU Men’s team was defeated 148-114. Prior to the meet, Nova Southeastern Athletics honored the 2024-25 Sharks Senior Class, which featured: Tate Abbott, Luca Alessandrini, Estelle Bauer, Thomas Flower, Grace Gardner, Claire Gass, Maria Goncalves, May Lowy, Inigo Marina, Ilaria Murzilli, Lauren O’Brien, Carin Sanchez, and Bethany Weber.

NSU Takes Down Florida Southern

LAKELAND, Fla. – The Sharks Swim teams returned to the pool Saturday morning, as they went head-to-head with the Florida Southern Mocs from Lakeland, Florida. The Women’s team won 209-47, and the Men’s team won 131.5-130.5.

Sharks Sweep Rollins in Dual Meet

WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Swimming teams were back in action on Friday afternoon, as they traveled to take on the Rollins College Tars. Both teams were victorious, with the Women’s team winning 214-48, and the Men’s team winning 154-108. As a team, the Sharks won 25 of the 28 events.

Sharks Split Dual Meet Against the River

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Swim teams opened up the 2025 portion of their schedule on Friday morning from the NSU Aquatic Center, as they hosted the Indian River State College River. The Women’s team was victorious, winning 173-89, while the Men’s team fell to the River 177-84.

Sharks Set New SSC Record on Final Day of Fall Frenzy

CHARLOTTE, NC. – On the final day of the Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy, hosted by Queens, the Sharks had a pair of first place finishes and set a new program and Sunshine State Conference record in the 400 freestyle relay. At the conclusion of the meet, the Women’s team finished second of thirteen, and the Men’s team finished third of nine.

NSU With Strong Showing on Day Three of Fall Frenzy

CHARLOTTE, NC. – On day three of the Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy, hosted by Queens, the Sharks Men’s and Women’s Swim teams had strong showings. Going into the final day of the frenzy, the Women’s team remains in second place, and the Men’s team remains in third place.

  • In the 100 breast, Claire Gass placed third with a time of 1:02.30. Behind her in fourth was Ronningdal, who finished with a time of 1:02.77. Then taking fifth with a time of 1:02.85 was Hannah Montgomery.
  • Maria Goncalves finished fourth in the 100 back with a time of 55.81.
  • The group of Goncalves, Montgomery, Orban, and Maya Esparza took second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:41.36.
