
WARREN, Ohio – The sixth-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men’s Golf team (+10) advanced to the match play rounds of the 2023 NCAA Division II National Championship tournament, placing sixth overall. The Sharks combined to record 17 birdies and shot +5 for the third round of stroke play.

Joseba Torres (E) ended his stroke play rounds by shooting +2 on Wednesday. Serra ended his three rounds in a tie for 14th place and recorded three birdies in the final round.
Michael Hay had another solid day on the course, finishing the third round at an even-par. Hay was bogey-free after nine holes and tallied three birdies on the afternoon.
Daniel Celestino (+4) recorded a pair of birdies on both the front and back-nines, finishing stroke play at +4.
Will O’Neill and Joseba Torres tallied seven birdies in the final round.

No. 6 Nova Southeastern will take on No. 4 Lee in the quarterfinal round of match play on Thursday, May 25.
