DESTIN, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Women’s Golf team tee’d off in the Emerald Coast Classic from the Baytowne Golf Club on Sunday afternoon. The third-ranked Sharks women’s team currently lead the field by six strokes after round one.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ellen Ramstedt, the only Shark to finish round one, under par, eagled the sixth hole, putting her one-under for the afternoon.
- Ramstedt wasn’t the only Shark to eagle on the afternoon, as Ellen Andersson achieved the feat on the par-five at 15.
- Hanna Ahlander shot an even-par on the back nine, adding back-to-back birdies on 11-12, to finish the day in a tie for sixth place (+2).
- Ramstedt, Sofia Garcia Austt, and Ahlander all finished the first round within the top-10 for NSU, with Garcia Austt and Ahlander sitting four strokes off the lead.
