Sharks Basketball is back, with gameday tickets now on sale! This year, Athletics has introduced premium seating for all Men’s and Women’s Home Basketball games, along with a variety of different season passes for fans.

For Single Game Tickets, fans have the option to pick premium seating in sections 101, 102, and 103 or general admission tickets in section 104.

MELBOURNE, FLA. – The Sunshine State Conference announced the Players of the Week for the week of November 21- November 27, on Monday afternoon. Nova Southeastern Sharks student-athletes Madison Frederick (Women’s Basketball), and RJ Sunahara (Men’s Basketball) earned honors following their performances over the weekend.

Nova Southeastern Sunshine State Conference Players of the Week awards are presented by Courtyard Marriot. 

Frederick collects her first Player of the Week honor following her efforts in NSU’s 3-0 week. The forward from Tipp City, Ohio, registered game-highs with 21 points, six steals, and five assists in a 86-63 win over Minnesota – Crookston. Frederick then dropped in a game-high 30 points and hit the game-winning shot in a victory over Purdue Northwest. She tallied four rebounds, two assists, and a steal in the 74-72 win. Last week, Frederick totaled 63 points by shooting 55% from the field (21-38), 44% from behind the arc and 76% from the line. The graduate student averaged 21 points, three steals, 4.6  assists, and five rebounds per game while playing 56 minutes across the three games.

Sunahara earns the 5th Player of the Week honor of his career for his performance in a pair of NSU wins last week. The Bay Village, Ohio, product scored a game-high 23 points and nabbed a team-high six rebounds in a 94-75 victory against Pitt – Johnstown. Sunahara also gave the Sharks three steals, two assists, and a block in the victory. The forward followed up with a 27-point / 11-rebound double-double, with both marks being game-highs, in a victory over Francis Marion. He blocked three shots, had three steals, and dished five assists in the 102-82 win. Sunahara scored a combined 50 points by shooting 61% from the field (19-31) and 80% from the line (12-15) across two games. The senior averaged 25.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game while playing 58 minutes.
