Wallace named to NFCA All-South Region team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Sharks earned another postseason accolade as Gracelyn Wallace garnered All-South Region honors. Wallace was recognized as an All-South Region First Team performer by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association’s eight regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated their student-athletes and voted for the teams. All the honorees are now eligible for selection to the 2025 NFCA Division II All-America squads.

Wallace has been on an absolute tear in her first season as a Shark, leading the team in wins (21), strikeouts (164), complete games (18), shutouts (5), and ERA (1.85) in 181.2 innings pitched. The right-handed pitcher earned a spot on the All-SSC first team and has been named the SSC Pitcher of the Week twice during the season. She was also named to the 2025 NFCA DII Player and Pitcher of the Year watch list.
