GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The eighth-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Golf team began play at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional tournament on Monday morning. NSU completed its first round in second place, just two strokes off the overall lead, while shooting 292 (+4) as a team. Rosanna Halls (3rd/69) paced the Sharks, shooting three-under with a nearly bogey-free first round.

- Rosanna Halls finished her first round one stroke off the individual lead, pacing the Sharks in the opening round. Halls bogeyed the first hole, but followed with seven pars and a birdie across the front nine. Following the turn, Halls added three more birdies, and six pars, to close her day at three-under.
- Haruka Muta recorded five pars and a pair of birdies across the front nine. Muta closed the round with another pair of birdies on the back nine, finishing the day at one-over and tied for 16th.
- Ariana Carvalho was steady throughout the afternoon for NSU, shooting a nearly bogey-free opening round. Carvalho totaled 17 pars, including 16 consecutive, to close the day at one-over.
- Lua Pousa Dacasa finished the opening round at five-over, totaling 12 pars on Monday.
- Maria Torres-Lobato shot six-over in the opening round, totaling 11 pars and a birdie.
