Sharks Set New SSC Record on Final Day of Fall Frenzy

CHARLOTTE, NC. – On the final day of the Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy, hosted by Queens, the Sharks had a pair of first place finishes and set a new program and Sunshine State Conference record in the 400 freestyle relay. At the conclusion of the meet, the Women’s team finished second of thirteen, and the Men’s team finished third of nine.

How it Happened
(Women’s)

  • Hailey Williams captured first place in the 1650 free with a time of 16:46.78.
  • Kristina Orban was victorious in the 100 free, finishing with a time of 49.50.
  • In the 200 fly, May Lowy took fourth with a time of 2:03.05.
  • The group of Orban, Maria Goncalves, Maya Esparza, and Zsofia Kurdi placed second in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:20.87, which is a new NSU Women’s Swim and Sunshine State Conference record.
