NSU Competes at Florida Tech Invite

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Rowing team competed at the Florida Tech Invite at Canal 54 on Saturday afternoon. NSU raced in four events, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

How it Happened
In the first race of the day, the women’s varsity 8 boat featuring Ysabel Ribeiro, Chrysta Snair, V Robinson, Ella Riddle, Sejal Jain, Amanda Bogle, Julianna Becerra, Triumph Perry and Yasmine Chiadmi (coxswain) raced against Embry-Riddle and posted a time of 7:31.1.

NSU returned to competition with the varsity D2 four boat of Mollie Ireland, Camila Rodriguez, Emma Hickey, Jordan Maruskin and Lauren Gray (coxswain) finishing in 7:52.1

The second varsity four boat featuring Ysabel Ribeiro, Chrysta Snair, V Robinson, Amanda Bogle and Anaiya Person (coxswain) recorded a time of 8:14.6.

In Nova Southeastern’s final race of the day, the varsity four+ boat of Mollie Ireland, Camila Rodriguez, Emma Hickey, Jordan Maruskin and Lauren Gray (coxswain) finished with a time of 7:59.8.
