NSU Rowing to Host Interest Meeting

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Women’s Rowing team, under the direction of Head Coach Kim Chavers, is hosting a rowing interest meeting on Tuesday, September 5th. The meeting will be held in the NSU Athletic Building in the Conference Room at 3 p.m.

NSU Rowing is an NCAA Division II Varsity Athletics program searching for the best athletes at Nova Southeastern and across the country. The Sharks have won six Sunshine State Conference titles and won the 2013 NCAA Division II National Championship.

Head Coach Kim Chavers and the program are looking for athletes that are interested in continuing the history of success and the legacy of the women’s rowing program.

“Nova Southeastern Rowing is the opportunity to learn and be a part of a new and upcoming sport,” said Chavers. “This is an opportunity to be a part of a team with incredible teammates, have connections to alumni in countless career fields, learn how to endure, push yourself, accomplish your goals, and be your best self and learn valuable life skills that you can’t learn out elsewhere but can be applied anywhere.”

If you are interested in learning more about the team or know someone that is, fill out this interest form and contact Kim Chavers at kchavers@nova.edu
