FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Softball team took down No. 3 Tampa 2-1. The Sharks were led by a pair of RBIs from Alyssa Drogemuller and Tia Williams in the Sunshine State Conference win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
TOP 2nd | The Spartans jumped out to a 1-0 lead after a double to center field.
BOT 5th | Alexis Smith singled through center field and stole second shortly after. A double from Alyssa Drogemuller drove in Smith and tied the game. NSU would take the lead on another double, this time from Tia Williams.
TOP 7th | Drogemuller and the Sharks would hold on and secure the upset win over the Spartans, 2-1.

The Sharks will close its series with the Spartans in a double-header on Saturday, March 25 at the AD Griffin Sports Complex. First-pitch is set for noon.
