FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern Baseball saw its seven-game winning streak snapped on Friday evening, as the Sharks lost 3-1 against the Davenport Panthers from the NSU Baseball Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Top of the First – The Panthers got on the board first, having the first four batters reach base, and took a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
Bottom of the First – Stephen Schissler showed his speed and led the game off with a triple before coming into score on an Adam Frank sacrifice fly.
Top of the Second – Davenport plated another run, taking a 3-1 lead, with an RBI single.
Both Carlos Rey and Carson Fischer matched each other over the next five innings, with both starting pitchers tossing seven innings and recording a quality start. The Sharks were unable to match the Panthers in the run column and ended the team’s seven-game winning streak.
