FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA – Despite a very strong first half, the Sharks were unable to finish the job. Nova Southeastern drops this SSC rivalry against Barry 3-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game started with a strong defensive effort from both teams. NSU’s Eduardo D’Avino had a spectacular save in the 24′ of the match.
- Then Nick Brisevac tested the Buccaneers goalie and almost put the first points on the board for the Sharks with an impressive header.
- As the first half progressed, Aleks Berg took matters into his own hands and ripped a shot that ricocheted off of a Barry defender and propelled into the net. Which counted as a team goal, giving Nova Southeastern a 1-0 lead in the 14′.
- The Buccaneers wouldn’t go away, scoring two quick goals in the 39′ to give them a 2-1 lead.
- Midway through the second half, Barry scored again in the 59′.
- As the game neared a close, Milos Christoforou would not be denied, scoring an impressive goal in the 15′ to cut into the Buccaneers lead, bringing the score to 3-2.
Despite a valiant effort by the Sharks offensively, they were unable to convert, dropping this contest against Barry.
