NORMAN, Okla. – With the season approaching, the Nova Southeastern men’s golf team is officially receiving votes in the Pre-Spring Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll.
The Sharks are one of an astounding nine teams from the Sunshine State Conference to either be among the Top-25 or receiving votes.
Awaiting their return to the course since March of last spring, the Sharks lineup will feature plenty of familiar faces in 2021, as the roster includes nine players back along with the addition of both Javier Calles and Joseba Torres. Tomas Millet, who has competed in a combined 26 career tournaments, joins Victor Jimenez as the lone seniors on the team, while Mike Hay and Emanuel Olofsson expect to be key contributors once again after flashing potential as freshmen a year ago.
South Carolina-Aiken will open the season at No. 1, having collected 11 of a possible 20 first-place votes. Lincoln Memorial sits at No. 2, with SSC member Barry trailing just behind at No. 3. Lee and Indianapolis round out the early Top-5.

Due to many changes in spring schedules for NSU and the SSC as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the official schedule has not been finalized for the 2021 men’s golf season and will remain tentative while the conference determines the league and championship schedules.
As official schedule information becomes available, the team will make an announcement on NSUSharks.com and on all social media accounts.
