The Davie Historical Museum is hosting the Eleventh Annual Pioneer Dinner on May 15, 2010. The event will start at 6 p.m., with tours of the school and drinks. A fried chicken dinner, with all sorts of homemade fixings, will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by an assortment of home baked cakes and pies.
This year, the Davie Historical Society has chosen to honor the Scott, Lewis, and Tindall families. After dinner, a video presentation will be shown honoring the selected families.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for children.
A Silent Auction will be held, with the winners of each item being announced at the dinner. For more information, call Patti at the Old Davie School at 954-797-1044.
